This event was an Alumni reception for Stanford University in Boston, MA. My client wanted a strong branding presence but also wanted to bring in some subtle branding — something that would hit close to home for their Alumni. I worked with my fabrication team to build vases that mimicked the stone and architecture on Stanford's campus. I then collaborated with my florist with choosing flower varieties that were similar to the landscaping on campus as well. By doing this, we created a connection to the campus from across the country!
This past winter, Absolut introduced their newest flavor — Absolut Lime. The Absolut team contracted me to design their Boston launch party. They requested heavy branding, a party atmosphere, signature cocktails and a photo op. On this page, I've included my initial design of custom props. I managed the fabrication team from concept to final product to event day set-up.
This is a two-part event including an Awards Dinner, which was held at the Sheraton Copley Boston, and an After Party Reception at the Skywalk which is on top of the Prudential Center in Copley square. Client was looking for a high end event incorporating their purple branding.
I've worked with a number of universities including Northwestern, Northeastern, Boston University and Stanford (see the Stanford Featured Project gallery for photos!) Universities are always interested in heavy branded events which is the perfect fit for me as I consider myself a graphic and event designer hybrid.
Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Weddings are some of the most fun events to be a part of! Being a crucial part in such a big day can be a lot of pressure, but it is certainly rewarding when you see it all come together and see the amazement on your clients face!
I've worked for a very wide range of corporate clients, including some well known names like BNY Mellon, Absolut, Keurig and LogMeIn. These photos display mostly holiday parties but also a goodie — an event I designed for Downton Abbey's final season screening premier!
